What changed in v1.0.1
- Settings and projects now save correctly in the installed app.
- Matelume opens in its own window, with a stitched-M icon and branded setup wizard.

One installer for everyone
Create an account, install Matelume, then choose Sign in with your browser inside the app to link this PC. Buying a plan unlocks the same app without another download. Internet is required throughout use.
Link your PC
Choose Sign in with your browser. Sign in on the website, check that the code and PC name match, then choose Link this PC. Return to Matelume; its sign-in window closes when the link is ready. Click the trial or plan badge, then Manage my account, to manage access and linked PCs. No password is entered inside the app.
Windows installation notice
The release installer is not code-signed yet. Use only the official Matelume download and verify the published checksum. If Windows SmartScreen shows its recognition warning, choose More info, then Run anyway if that option is available and you trust the verified file. Do not disable Windows security or override a malware detection.
What the trial includes
Every new Matelume account receives a 5-day trial of the full version, starting when the first PC is linked. Exports are capped at 2K, with a faint “Matelume · trial” watermark on the Color map only. Max features, including fur, are Coming soon. When the trial ends, building and exporting pause until you buy a plan. Your work stays, and the app stays installed. The trial does not start a paid subscription.
Requirements and performance
Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. 16 GB RAM recommended. Allow about 4.5 GB for the program, plus room for your materials. An NVIDIA graphics card is recommended. CPU-only operation was tested successfully at 2K with the NVIDIA card hidden from the app. Smaller NVIDIA cards have not yet been tested. Timings vary with the graphics card. Add-ons & plugins
Continue working with your Matelume exports in your 3D software. Both integrations are included with the app and available from its Export step.
Blender add-on
For Blender 4.2 or later.
In Blender, choose Edit > Preferences > Get Extensions > Install from Disk, then select the ZIP file.
3ds Max plugin
For 3ds Max, with V-Ray or Corona.
Drag the downloaded .mzp file into a 3ds Max viewport to install.
The add-on and plugin are also available from the Export step inside Matelume.
What was tested
Earlier development builds were tested on Windows 11 Pro, Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX, 32 GB RAM and an RTX 5090 Laptop GPU with 24 GB graphics memory. Those tests covered installation, a 4K fabric build, capped 2K export and uninstall. Production sign-in and PC linking were verified with the installed v1.0 release build. The build took 147 seconds on that machine, with peak application RAM of 6.3 GB. A separate CPU-only 2K test on the same laptop, with NVIDIA hidden from the app, passed in 108 seconds with peak RAM of 8.8 GB. These results are not a speed or memory guarantee for other PCs.

Every user needs a Matelume account and an ongoing internet connection, including trial, paid and reviewer access. Your photos and material processing stay on your PC.
Founder is $50 per year for the first 50 buyers, with the rate kept while renewing. Pro is $15 per month or $150 per year. Max is Coming soon.
