Trial and plans

A new account gets a 5-day trial of every Pro tool from its first linked PC, with exports up to 2K and a faint watermark; buying unlocks the same install.

The 5-day trial

Every new Matelume account starts with a free 5-day trial.

• It starts when you link your first PC, not when you create the account.
• Every Pro tool: fabric, wall art and marble, the Blender add-on, the 3ds Max plugin and Send to.
• Exports up to 2K. Every exported map is capped at 2K, whichever quality you build at. 16-bit maps stay 16-bit.
• A faint watermark on the Color map only. "Matelume · trial" repeats across the Color map. The other maps are untouched, so the material still renders correctly, and the .json notes that it's a trial export.
• Max features aren't included. Fur is part of the Max plan, which is coming soon.
• One trial per PC. A PC that has already used a trial can't start another one with a new account.

The trial doesn't start a paid subscription.

While it runs, your badge in the top bar shows Trial · 5 days left, counting down. Click it to see "Every Pro tool. Exports up to 2K with a watermark. Max features are not included." and the day your trial ends.

Buying a plan

Choose a plan on the Plans page, signed in with the same account you use in Matelume.

Buying unlocks the Matelume you already have installed: no new download and no new installer. Once your plan is active, the badge changes to Pro · until and the day it runs until.

Exports you build from then on come out clean, at the full quality you pick. Exports you made during the trial keep their watermark and their 2K size; build the material again to get it clean.

Access given to you

Sometimes Matelume gives access for a set time, for example for a review. Your badge then shows Pro · until the end day, and your account view says "Your plan runs until" that day.

When a trial or plan ends

Your badge shows Trial ended or Plan ended, and Matelume opens Your trial has ended or Your plan has ended.

• Building maps, exporting and Send to pause.
• Matelume stays installed. Your exported materials and your projects stay on your PC.
• Buy (after a trial) or Renew (after a plan) opens the Plans page.
• Once you've bought or renewed, click Check access again.

Your account online

Your plan, its end date and your linked PCs are on My account at matelume.com. Open it from Matelume: click your badge, then Manage my account. For billing, invoices and cancelling, use Manage billing there.

Note: Matelume needs an internet connection the whole time, on the trial and on every plan. See System requirements.
