Sign in and link your PC

Link Matelume to your account through your web browser with a matching code; you never type a password into the app.

Matelume works with a Matelume account. You link each PC to your account once, through your web browser. You never type a password into the app.

Link this PC

1. Start Matelume. The Link this PC to your Matelume account window opens by itself. If you closed it, click Sign in in the top bar.
2. Click Sign in with your browser. Your web browser opens matelume.com at the Link this PC page, and Matelume shows Finish in your browser with a code, such as K7PM-3QXD.
3. In the browser, sign in with Google, Microsoft or an e-mail code. No account yet? Signing in this way creates one.
4. The page shows your PC's name and a code. Check that the code matches the one in Matelume, then click Link this PC.
5. The page says Done. Go back to Matelume. Within a few seconds, Matelume closes its sign-in window and your plan badge appears in the top bar.

Only confirm a link that you started yourself, from Matelume on that PC.

If the page didn't open, or you closed it, click Open the page again. A code works for 10 minutes. If yours ran out, click Cancel, then Sign in with your browser again.

Next time you start Matelume on this PC, it signs in by itself. Windows keeps your sign-in safely on the PC.

Your plan badge

The badge in the top bar shows where you stand:

• Sign in: this PC isn't signed in.
• Trial · 5 days left: your free trial, counting down.
• Pro · until and a date: a paid plan, or access you were given, and the day it runs until.
• Trial ended or Plan ended: building and exporting are paused. See Trial and plans.

Your account view

Click the badge to open your account view. It shows:

• the e-mail address of your account;
• on a trial: "Every Pro tool. Exports up to 2K with a watermark. Max features are not included." and the day your trial ends;
• on a plan: "Your plan runs until" and the day;
• Manage my account, which opens My account on matelume.com, with your plan and your linked PCs;
• Sign out of this PC.

Sign out of this PC signs this PC out and forgets its saved sign-in. The PC stays linked to your account. To free its place, unlink it on My account; see Your PCs.

Using two PCs

You can link two PCs, and Matelume runs on one of them at a time. If it's running on your other PC, this PC asks Switch to this PC?. See Your PCs.

Tip: Stay online while you work. Matelume checks your account in the background, and it needs the connection to start new builds and exports.
